Hydrating Shampoo for Dry Hair

Amazing shampoo! Cleans delicate but perfectly removes all the products from my hair. It calmed my very dry, itchy scalp and left my hair soft, hydrated, and smooth. I also love the smell - sweet like a desert!

This product is amazing. Easy to wash off and the texture is very soft. I use this shampoo almost everyday and my hair feels wonderful and healthy!!!

I want to start off by saying this is a good product! It’s not a bad product by ANY means, and I really wanted to love it and give it 5 stars but for me, it earns a 4 star and I’ll explain why.The first reason is because I don’t feel like it’s priced fairly for what you’re getting. Compared to its competitors, they are charging quite a bit more and you’re not getting a ton of product.That doesn’t take away from the fact that this is a good shampoo if you have dry hair. It just doesn’t justify the price when you can receive the same ingredients in a shampoo for half the price. If this was $15 I would be leaving a totally different review right now.The texture is similar to other shampoos, no issues with that. The pump works good but you have to press pretty hard to get a pump out. I do appreciate the fact that it’s not wasteful with how much comes out in a pump so you can always go for a second pump but it’s not gonna give you a ton of shampoo if you don’t want it.The smell to me is kind of like cocoa butter / nutty kind of scent, I actually like it! It’s subtle and natural but sweet smelling.It didn’t make my hair feel greasy which a lot of hydrating shampoos do. It also didn’t make my scalp feel weird which sometimes happens with overly hydrating shampoosIt lathered good on my 2nd shampoo (Always double shampoo! The first shampoo is just getting the dirt and oil, the second shampoo is when you’re gonna experience the lathering and the actual cleansing of your scalp)Overall, this is a good product and I do recommend it! I think that the price needs adjusting, but I still think it’s a good product and worth trying for sure!

I have an oily scalp but also have flaking and dermatitis frequently, especially exacerbated by certain products. But, my wavy hair can get dry or frizzy at the ends and sometimes greasy at the scalp area, and while I don't shampoo daily, it's very difficult for me to go more than two days without shampoo and not look or feel gross. This makes finding a good shampoo difficult at times.Now that we've established my issues and hair type, I wasn't sure how my hair would respond to this, as sometimes "hydrating" shampoos make my scalp oilier yet doesn't seem to actually hydrate my HAIR. I was actually quite pleasantly surprised that this seems to be a well balanced shampoo... my scalp felt nice... it didn't feel stripped nor did it feel heavy or oily. I also did not get any irritation or flare of dermatitis! My hair felt nicely hydrated (as hydrated as can be on shampoo alone, which I still used my regular conditioner as usual after.) My hair was smooth and not dry!The product itself is actually quite thick. A little bit goes a long way (amount in image was enough to lather my entire head and shoulder-length hair.) The lather feels luxurious. The scent smells like coconut and cocoa butter. Not my personal favorite, but it's not overbearing so I don't mind so much.While I do really like this shampoo and think it's a good quality, I don't find it to be the best value for the amount of product. Since the product is thick, I do think the bottle will last, but I can't see myself using this product daily. This will likely be when I need a little bit of a change due to scalp irritation or just needing a bit of a scalp freshening, or maybe a little extra dose of hydration to my hair. This will likely be a once a week or every other week product for me... but with that said, it is a product I would be willing to purchase again.

I have thin sad hair (rip) and this is the FIRST shampoo and conditioner combo that’s ever left my hair still feeling light and fluffy. Normally they weigh my already lifeless hair down but this stuff doesn’t! It sort of feels like it’s only a shampoo but my hair is definitely silkier and tangles left afterwards.I like it! It smells good too which is a plus, I used the whole bottle before reviewing but my initial positive thoughts stayed until the end!!
