Great oil, not so great smell

Great oil but I'm not really fond of the smell. Smells like old leather. But on the flip side, it does make your skin glow. The oil is a little thick but not too thick. If you can get past the smell, this is good.

Glow without the grease

This body oil is such a gorgeous finishing touch. It melts into the skin without feeling greasy. Leaves a soft, healthy sheen, and makes everything look smoother and more hydrated. The scent is subtle and clean, and the glow lasts for hours. It's the perfect "effortless but polished" product. Obsessed.

Cold-pressed jojoba oil doesn’t smell great but soaks in well and provides good value

I think this botanical “glow oil” is quite nice. It’s cold-pressed jojoba oil, so for an oil (which in my opinion are always inherently heavy/greasy), it’s fairly lightweight and sinks into the skin fairly well. I did manage to accidentally put too much on the ends of my hair, but that’s easy to correct with washing and in the meantime, it’s probably really hydrating for my split ends. It’s actually a plus that a little bit of this oil goes a long way. The pump works well. Although it’s hard to tell exactly, I’m pretty sure using this oil on my hands is making the skin softer and more hydrated (this is perhaps true for most oil products, but still). The seller also recommends mixing with body lotion, which seems like a good idea, even though one could also just buy body lotion with the right ratio of oil to other ingredients. I’ve actually been looking for something to mix with some self-tanner drops I got for free as a beauty store sample and I think this oil will probably be perfect for that. On the down side, with its pomegranate and cranberry elements, I had expected the scent of this oil to be lovely. Although it’s not offputting, I can’t say I care too much for it either. Also the seller describes this as a “shimmer body oil.” I usually think of shimmer oil as oil that has some glitter or other shimmery substance in it. This is just oil, so it shimmers only to the extent that any oil on your skin will shimmer. On the other hand, I don’t necessarily want my body to look glittery. Overall, I’d say the two best things about this oil are that it’s versatile and not too expensive. You can use it on your skin after showers to retain moisture, on your nails to make them stronger and keep them from splitting, or on the ends of your hair to keep it soft. At the current price point of $23.98 for a full 8 ounces, I think it’s a pretty reasonable price for high-quality oil.

Shiny, not slimy

8 ounce of body oil in a clear, plastic pump dispenser bottle. If you're used to heavy, silicon type moisturizers this makes for a nice change. The ingredient list is impressive and spans pomegranate, jojoba and arctic cranberry. Quality is felt immediately and provides a legitimate, healthy sheen without making you look too glossy/greasy.A few pumps should adequately cover the bod and I estimate it'll last 3-4 months with nightly use. It absorbs fast, with an earthy-botanical scent that you'll either enjoy or not. Overall it's a reliable, high quality staple that actually delivers on it's 'glow' promise.
